Mike O’Banyel

Mike O’Banyel serves as Interim Community Ministries Coordinator at Tab, bringing decades of experience in service, leadership, and community engagement. In this role, he helps guide Tab Community Care and connects with neighbors through the Open Door Café, supporting outreach and ministry initiatives.

Mike serves on the Facilities and Missions Committees and the Mapleton Fall Creek Development Corporation Board. He has participated in numerous mission trips, both locally and internationally, and has volunteered in community ministries since 1976.

A founding member of Tab’s Boy Scout Troop 72, Mike has also contributed to Tab Recreation as a player, coach, and official.

With a deep heart for the community, Mike brings experience, dedication, and energy to his role, helping Tab strengthen its outreach, build relationships, and serve those in need.
