Tab Tutoring
Helping Students Grow in Confidence, Character, and Community
Every Thursday afternoon, classrooms at Tab come alive with laughter, focus, and encouragement. Through our Tab Tutoring program, we offer academic support, spiritual encouragement, and caring mentorship to students from Phelan Leadership Academy, The Oaks Academy, and other neighborhood schools.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to nurture self-worth in every student, inspire a love for learning, and build lasting bonds between families, volunteers, and the local community. We believe every child should know they are deeply loved by God.
A Weekly Commitment to Growth
Tab Tutoring meets weekly on Thursdays from 2:45 PM to 5:15 PM during the IPS school calendar. We support students through one-on-one tutoring, homework help, enrichment activities, and relationship-building that goes beyond the classroom.

Here are a few ways you can join us:
Volunteer Weekly or Bi-Weekly
Help with tutoring, lead activities, or offer a listening ear—no teaching experience required.
Donate Snacks or School Supplies
Fuel our afternoons with healthy snacks or help stock our classroom with pencils, notebooks, and learning tools.
Support Financially
Your donation helps us provide the resources students need to succeed.
Pray for Us
Keep our students, volunteers, and families in your prayers as we walk alongside them each week.
