The program serves children from Phelan Leadership Academy, The Oaks Academy, and other local schools, offering academic support and enrichment every Thursday from 2:45 PM to 5:15 PM, in line with the IPS school calendar. Volunteers play a vital role—be a tutor, lead activities, share your skills, provide snacks, or offer prayers—and help support the growth of local students.

  • Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tab transforms its Dining Room into a space of warmth, welcome, and community. Open Door Café is more than lunch—it’s a ministry of presence, compassion, and connection. Volunteers have the opportunity to serve food, build meaningful relationships, listen, pray, and simply be present with our neighbors. This ministry reflects humility, dignity, and the belief that every person bears the image of God. If you’re ready to serve with compassion and be transformed by the stories of others, fill out the contact form below.

  • Through Tab’s flagship community ministry program, sports are more than games—they’re opportunities to shape character, build community, and grow in faith. Our Christ-centered programs give youth a safe, supportive space to develop teamwork, perseverance, and leadership, all while exploring what it means to live out their faith. Prayer is central to every practice, game, and gathering, reminding our athletes that God is at the heart of everything we do.

You can support Tab Recreation by sharing your time and talents. Volunteer to coach, manage equipment, run the concession stand, or simply cheer on our athletes—every contribution strengthens our youth, our teams, and our community.

Serve Globally

At Tab, our mission reaches beyond our walls to communities across the globe and in the U.S. From Arizona and Philadelphia to Kenya, Romania, Colombia, Thailand, and beyond, we partner with local leaders and organizations to meet practical needs, share God’s love, and support lasting change. Through initiatives like food and education programs, discipleship, leadership development, and disaster relief, there are many ways to get involved and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people near and far.

  • Missio-Link International (MLI) equips and enables local churches through Church Partnering and Leadership Development programs. Guided by the mission of God (Missio Dei), MLI fosters partnerships between Christians, churches, and organizations to serve those in need and strengthen Christian witness. Their ministries include the Alpiniș Leadership Center, Children at Risk, and Church in Mission initiatives, providing support and prevention for girls who are survivors of abuse and trafficking, as well as for disadvantaged children in Romania. Founded in 2001 by Pastor Eugen Groza and Romanian leaders, MLI continues to address both the material and spiritual needs of communities shaped by the lasting effects of decades under Communism.
