Dr. Steve Smith

Dr. Steve Smith serves as Tab’s part-time Interim Associate Pastor, focusing on pastoral care and mission support. He brings nearly four decades of experience serving churches in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and California, most recently as Transitional Pastor of Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church.

Steve and his wife Nancy live in Fishers and are grateful to have family nearby, including their daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.

He is nourished in his spiritual life by the writings of N.T. Wright and F. Dale Bruner. For recreation, Steve enjoys hiking, kayaking with Nancy, reading the novels of C.J. Box, listening to the music of Jorma Kaukonen, and exploring films by Christopher Mihm.
