What We Believe
At Tab, our faith is rooted in the timeless truth of Scripture and the hope of the Gospel. We believe in the transforming love of Jesus Christ and in the power of a church that lives, teaches, and proclaims that truth with grace and conviction. In a world that’s always changing, we hold fast to what’s essential, anchoring our worship, teaching, and community in the unchanging Word of God.
We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church committed to the Lordship of Jesus and the authority of Scripture. The truth of God’s Word shapes every part of our life together—how we worship, how we serve, and how we live out our faith in the world.
We regularly affirm our shared beliefs by reciting the Apostles’ Creed, an ancient summary of the Christian faith that connects us to generations of believers around the world.
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.
