Loving Our Neighborhood & City

Supporting Mapleton-Fall Creek and Indianapolis

At Tab, we believe in building a stronger community. Throughout our history, we have been committed to making a meaningful impact through collaboration, service, and investment in our neighbors. Guided by visionary members, supporting community and nonprofit development has long been central to Tab’s mission.

Over the years, Tab has helped support and strengthen organizations such as The Oaks Academy, Mid-North Food Pantry, Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, and Raphael Health Center. Today, we remain committed to partnering with and supporting organizations that are transforming our neighborhood and city, helping create lasting opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to thrive.

FreeWheelin’ Bikes

Teaching Lifelong Learning, Resiliency & Persistence

Freewheelin’ Community Bikes connects youth with skills for life over a shared passion for the bicycle. We envision a stronger, healthier, more connected city. They provide accessible bicycles and teach youth life and leadership skills that improve their physical and mental well-being.

Horizons

Learning is and should be fun

Our summer program goes beyond the classroom, allowing students to engage in hands-on activities that spark their curiosity and deepen their connection with education. Guided by certified teachers, students create and build while, actively applying what they've learned to real-world situations.

Mid-North Food Pantry

Food Assistance In Mapleton-Fall Creek

The Mid-North Food Pantry (MNFP) has always been a story of neighbors helping neighbors. From its earliest days, the pantry was built and sustained by community members who believed that no one in the Mapleton-Fall Creek area should go hungry. That belief continues to guide us today as we evolve to meet a rapidly changing landscape of food insecurity in Indianapolis.

Raphael Health Center

Neighborhood Healthcare

In 1994, Tabernacle Presbyterian Church (Tab), located at 34th and Central, was challenged to address the health concerns of the surrounding neighborhood. As a result, health care providers, who were also members of Tab, offered free medical care at the newly formed Raphael Health Center with donated medical equipment. The Raphael Health Center’s mission is to provide community-based, full service health care of the highest quality with respect and dignity for all people including the underserved and uninsured within a setting that shares the love and healing of Jesus Christ.

Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic

Do Justice. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly.

Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides free legal services and education statewide to those who can't afford them, believing everyone deserves access to justice regardless of income. As a faith-based organization, we serve and empower all clients, regardless of their background, reflecting God's heart for justice. Our goal is to free clients from legal burdens that may be holding them back from their full potential.

The Oaks Academy

Students Are Known, Loved & Flourishing

The Oaks Academy is more than a school — it’s a community where children are known, loved, and challenged to grow academically and personally. Our Christ-centered, classical curriculum and nurturing environment foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
