What is Wednesdays@Tab?
Wednesdays@Tab is a new mid-week program for adults and children.

When is Wednesdays@Tab?
Wednesday nights from 5:45pm to about 8:00, beginning September 15.

What’s going to happen Wednesday nights?
A lot.  Here’s a look at the schedule:

Who is invited?
Everyone.  Tab members and families, children and families in the tutoring program, children from the former Thursday night program, neighbors and friends.

How can I be involved?
You can participate in a class, register your children, be a parent helper or center leader in the children’s program, help teach a class, assist in worship–the opportunities are plentiful for Wednesdays@Tab.

Tab’s “Fresh Start” Tutoring, a ministry to students K-6 in the Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood, begins Thursday, September 16th from 4:00 to 5:15 pm at Tab.  We meet every Thursday and follow the IPS calendar. 

Registration is now open to the first 40 students.  After 40 complete registrations are received, a wait list will be created.  Click here for the registration form.  Return completed registration forms to: Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, IPS School 48, or The Oaks.

Tab’s “Fresh Start” Tutoring Ministry will begin its third year on Thursday, September 16th from 4:00 to 5:15 pm.  This ministry meets every Thursday and follows the IPS calendar. Consider joining Tab’s team of volunteers.  Make a difference in the lives of the children in our neighborhood–parents are already contacting us, wanting to enroll their children.  

If you wish to volunteer, plan on attending the training session and one of the two workshops below.  These sessions, held at Tab, are for new and seasoned volunteers.

Training and Q & A Session — August 26, 4:00 to 5:00 pm 

Workshop: Math and Scripture Verse, K to 3rd Grade focus – September 2, 2:00 to 3:30 pm 

Workshop: Math and Scripture Verse, 4th to 6th Grade focus – September 2, 4:00 to 5:30 pm 

There are many ways to help besides becoming a weekly or bi-weekly volunteer.  Donate basic school supplies, make a monetary gift for additional student learning materials, and pray.

The Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) is a Christian association committed to inspiring, equipping, and connecting Christians who are restoring under-resourced communities throughout the world and redeeming them for Christ.

CCDA’s annual conference, September 7-11 in Chicago, provides encouragement and inspiration to people who are working hard to share the Kingdom of God in their communities. The conference is also an opportunity for training and equipping so that we can be more effective, and it’s a great opportunity for connecting with and learning from others doing similar work.
