Call for Tutoring Volunteers
Tab’s “Fresh Start” Tutoring Ministry will begin its third year on Thursday, September 16th from 4:00 to 5:15 pm. This ministry meets every Thursday and follows the IPS calendar. Consider joining Tab’s team of volunteers. Make a difference in the lives of the children in our neighborhood–parents are already contacting us, wanting to enroll their children.
If you wish to volunteer, plan on attending the training session and one of the two workshops below. These sessions, held at Tab, are for new and seasoned volunteers.
Training and Q & A Session — August 26, 4:00 to 5:00 pm
Workshop: Math and Scripture Verse, K to 3rd Grade focus – September 2, 2:00 to 3:30 pm
Workshop: Math and Scripture Verse, 4th to 6th Grade focus – September 2, 4:00 to 5:30 pm
There are many ways to help besides becoming a weekly or bi-weekly volunteer. Donate basic school supplies, make a monetary gift for additional student learning materials, and pray.
