Instruments--Handbells

Malmark Handbells
Tabernacle Church was the first church in Indianapolis to own and use handbells in its worship services. The original set of Petit & Fritsen Handbells was purchased in 1964, years before handbells were even thought of being used for worship. Tabernacle now owns a 5-octave set of Malmark Handbells and a 3-octave set of Malmark Choirchimes. The original handbells still hang in the upstairs closet as a constant reminder of the rich heritage of handbells that has been part of Tabernacle church for almost 50 years.
