Children's
Ministries
On
Sunday mornings, Tab’s
Children's Ministries provide a safe, secure environment for
children through 6th grade.
Within our loving nursery,
lively Sunday School program and Junior Church,
children learn what it means to be a Christian.
During the annual Missions
Unit, children “visit” locations throughout the world
to see how other children live and play, as well as how God’s people
are working to share the Gospel.
Our Pre-Teen
Ministry for 5th and 6th graders focuses on going deeper in faith,
fellowship and service.
Many
other family activities
create an environment where children receive love, and learn to love God.

Mid-Week
Children's Program
The
Mid-Week Children's Program at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church serves
children kindergarten through fifth grade.
The program seeks to provide
opportunities for children to come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and
Lord and to provide experiences that contribute to a wider range of
life skills and building of behaviors that will be the basis for success
in high school and later life.
The
program also seeks to engage the children in activities that enhance
their world experience, teaching accountability as the foundation
for responsibility and participation in a peer group (children are
divided by age/grade) that meets regularly, sharing the same goals,
and dealing with the same issues.

Program director; 023-5458, ext. 124
Presently
we meet on Thursday evenings, from 6:00 to 7: 00 p.m. with varied activities
each week. The children are invited to participate in a community meal
at 7:00 pm in the church dining room.
